Absolutely right-on Jimbo! The price paid on ebay may be only a fraction of what the chip is actually worth. Many chips sold on ebay are purchased by chip dealers who have willing customers for a particular chip at much higher prices. Many well-heeled collectors do not have the time or patience to bid on ebay seller's crazy end-of-sale deadlines... nor are some of them on-line to begin with. Instead, they would rather purchase their chips from well established chip dealers.
