ebay buyer's opinion

There are some chips on ebay which I would like to place a bid--but won't. The reason? Because the seller is demanding either payment by Paypal (which I do not subscribe to) or money order. Money orders as you all know, takes extra effort and cost, which I personally am not about to expend just to satiate the wishes of a seller.

It is my opinon that the seller of anything would try to make it as easy as possible for any buyer to purchase any goods for the least amount effort possible which in this case means that I or any other buyer could pay for these chips by personal check. Now, if that person thinks that I might try and stiff him for the $10.00 or so, which by the way is the starting bid of this auction, then he can wait until my check clears, but at least make it easy for me. Not only that, I can write a check immediately and not have to wait until I get to a bank or PO to get a money order.

That's not my only problem, of course. The seller is also demanding I pay $2.25 postage which needless to say, I would never pay. grin grin

It would seem to me that you sellers of chips would someday "wake up" and realize how many more chips you could sell if you would only be reasonable with your shipping charges.

What say you buyers. Do you agree or not?
