Bob you are forgetting the context.

Brian asserted that attacking Iraq was justified as a means to stop terrorism.

Al asked "Please explain why you think attacking Iraq will prevent future terrorist attacks? Iraq has never been linked to a terrorist attack on the U.S."

I pointed out that the underlying prejudice which Brian and unfortunately many people seem to be sharing is that All Arabs are the same. You yourself in post said "you can not remove the fact that those who attacked us were arab Muslim extremists." But that demonstrates my point. You see Iraq is not a nation of Muslim Extremists, If Iraq is dangerous it is solely because of the secular power of Saddam Hussein. Saddam Hussein is not a religious leader at all. so if as you suggest we need to fear Arab Muslim Extremists we need not concern ourselves with Iraq.
