Are you telling me that you would have been ok with a U.S. led PREEMPTIVE attack on Afghanistan prior to 9-11, when such an attack would have been based on secret intelligence of which the general public would not have been aware?

Maybe not you, but every left winger in the country would have been demonstrating against the imperialistic U.S.

Think about it. The general public would not have known, for security reasons, all the information that the government had which led to an Afghanistan invasion. Are you sure you would have supported such a move. Remember, 9-11 had not happened.

Don't you believe that it's possible that the government also has information on Iraq that has not been released. I, for one, don't want to see a mushroom cloud above Manhattan. One reason is that I probably won't make it out alive this time.
