I have & have seen many thousands of chips in new condition in other molds & none have that brass look.
I feel it is a BORLAND only way of making them. I saw his chips years ago. This stood out. I can spot them in a collection no problem.
Sure there are slight gold tints but most probably cant be noticed from one manufacturer to the next. Borlands can.
