What on the worn Ely chip is smaller? To me the edge inserts look the same. I don't see the one being sloppy.
Also being worn, used, gives a chip a different look. Possible from the same batch & the shine wore off, or wore out.
What do you other chippers think?
I do think the chip on right, AU, is a C&J. Just not earlier that had more shine. I take it that the Burt chips might of had the most shine?
If you look at a black chip vs. say a beige chip black will look shinier too.
