Thanks for your names! You'll notice that virtually everyone here does post using their actual names... there have been some negative experiences with people posting anonymously in some controversial threads.

As far as cleaning is concerned, I should say that I am total agreement with Archie, John, and Charles T, in that cleaning is a very personal thing (I clean some of mine and not others), and that some chips should NEVER be cleaned. My only point is that if you are looking to SELL a chip, it might not be the best philosophy to leave the dirt intact if the chip would clean up well, as presentation is extremely important on the auction sites.
