I see why we disagree: Rudy made New York a good place for people from Jersey to visit.

I lived in NYC when he was elected, and was driven out in August 2001 -- primarily because of how he ruined New York.

FIrst he came for the Squeegie men, and I didn't care because I had no squeegie. Then the mafia. Then the people who drink beer on the subway (beer was still sold to white people on the Long Island Railroad). Then the people who drink beer on their front step. Then the people who like topless bars. THen the cabbies who dared protest him (he illegally barred them from Manhattan to avoid a protest). then the other protesters who thought they had a right to march in City Hall Park (remember the fences he put up?). Then anyone who dared to DANCE in a bar without a cabaret license (the first Mayor in 50 years to order the police to ticket people for dancing to a jukebox). Then his wife for not wanting amistress in their home. Then anyone who liked dance clubs (Twilo drew people from London for world-renowned DJs until Rudy learned some of them might do drugs)

He denied everyone except tourists from NJ, CT, and Long Island all of their rights -- mainly because he wanted to be governor. And he was finally on the way out (come on, people didn't even feel bad when he got cancer)when 9/11 happened.

He's the anti-Christ in my eyes. I hope I'm alive when he is burried so i can urinate on his grave.

But of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Right now, most of America agrees with you.
