...nonsense? The following is a reply I received from a high bidder who lives in California:

"In California, the seller IS responsible for delivering the goods. The fact that Ebay is used
does not change that."

The high bidder is stating that the seller of all merchandise into California is required to pay the shipping costs, regardless of the stated terms. I don't know the answer, but maybe someone who resides in California could help.
