According to Ed's book the Avenue Night Club was in Bellevue which is right next to Newport. Per Laudermans book the Avenue Club was at 181 Fairfield and Fairfield does go thru Bellevue. 181 is between Lafayette and Berry st. I sure would like to see the story that went with that picture and note if there are any addresses mentioned. I would bet that the place next door is the Avenue. Now the only question is The Avenue, Avenue Night Club and Avenue Social Club the same place??? OK Gene your turn
