When I was a dealer in Atlantic City at the Tropicana (many moons ago) we had a blackjack player who was blind. Whoever dealt to him had to tell him what his cards were and what the dealer's up card was. I've seen many poker players with assistants. I've never seen a situation where their needs were not accomadated.
