Many people frown upon LE's and even refer to them as junk.
There is no argument that there is a lot of "junk" produced by some of these chip mills.
It is virtually impossible to find a day with any form of historical or social significance for which there hasn't been a chip issued.
Many collectors choose to only collect house chips or illegals as these chips have a pedigree of historical significance attatched to them.
My question is, what do you see happening in this hobby 10 years down the road?
There is no question that this hobby is still in its infancy but I sense a snowball effect around the corner. Since my joining the club less than 3 years ago, this hobby seems to have grown by 50%.
House chips for most part are open ended issues. In many cases we don't know how many were made or for that matter how many survive.
LE's on the other hand are just what they imply...Limited.
Do you feel that in the future, as collectors far out number some of these limited editions, will LE's gain more respectability?
