I, for one, do not believe that there are inexpensive purchases on eBay. Even a $5 final price has additional costs and if you factor in your time for monitoring it's receipt, posting feedback, etc., nothing is cheap.

Unfortunately, "caveat emptor" (buyer beware) is the hinge pin of eBay ethics, unless you are dealing with a Club Member, who is then obligated to abide by the Club's Code of Ethics. Which they do so willingly.

To protect yourself I recommend that you pose the question to the seller (in advance).....Is the item scanned the item I will receive?
