From a legal stand point the above statement is NOT an acceptable excuse! and unless you give an adequate reason and are willing to compensate those who were affected because in anticipation of the Silver Strike Tournament they made non-refundable airline reservations and now had their hotel reservations cancelled. IMHO there could be some serious legal repercussions brought against both O'Sheas and the Flamingo for breech of contract, distress and a few other legal points that I can think of. But of course I'm not at liberty to discuss them :p
