Re: TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION APOLOGY

I can appreciate the fact that the Casino has a right to cancel engagements for reasons out of their control, but to do nothing for the people who are now stuck arriving in town early is beyond comprehension. The Flamingo could have at least given a discounted rate for the people who were slated to participate in the tournament. Could the potential Union strike have anything to do with this? If so, Flamingo management could have still made an effort to compensate the tournament participants with discounted room rates or some type of voucher. You can tell a tree by it's fruit...Their actions speak volumes.
I was going to stay at the Flamingo in August during my next visit. I, too, will wait to see how the management of the Flamingo handles the "displaced visitors" who were to be in town early.
