So, if I collect state quarters ...

... but not proofs (probably because proofs are usually more expensive), I would go ahead and pay much more to obtain an MS-67 regular issue rather than less to obtain the much nicer looking and more desirable PF-70 proof coin?

Sorry, but that still strikes me as dumb with a capital D (as in "demand" vbg).

I understand the concept of supply and demand, I'm just having trouble understanding why there would be a higher demand for an MS-67 than a PF-70 of the same coin.
