Re: Under Age Customers
In Response To: Re: Under Age Customers ()

I do understand the rules, and was happy to keep within them. My only disappointment, shall I say, was the attitude of the guard in the Boardwalk. I have to say this was the only time I have ever encountered this, and I do always try and keep within the rules. Even if I had accidently broken the rules which I have once or twice, and had been asked to move on, the vast majority of security (and other casino) staff have always been quite friendly. Unfortunately it tends to be these incidents which stick in the mind, and so I won't be going back to the Boardwalk. Plenty of other friendly casinos willing to take my cash though!

I was also confused at the Boardwalk as I had never before encountered a situation where the cashiers cage was considered an area where I could not stop with a minor.

Is there a distance which the gaming authorities consider a 'safe' distance? For example, is, say, 10 feet from the nearest table or slot machine the distance? If so, it could be that in the Boardwalk their casino cage is nearer to the gaming area? I can't really remember, but as it's a small casino it may be that their cage is nearer to the tables.

Overall though, still had a great time, and I will be back as soon as I can (maybe just a short trip without my daughter this time!).

Thanks everyone for all the comments.
