Re: I'm surprised too
In Response To: I'm surprised too ()

It may have just been that because my daughter is only 20 months, and was either in her stroller or being carried, she was never likely to try and play a slot machine - Emily can run fast, so I made sure she wasn't walking when we went through the casinos in case she made a break for the slots! I could understand it's harder with a 4 year old fascinated by the lights.

Having said that, we were asked to move on a few times when we stopped briefly in some casinos, but in most places the cashier cages seem to be on the walkways which are not generally deemed to be part of the gaming floor.

The only other place where I thought I'd get moved on was waiting in line in the Imperial Palace to join the slot club as that is very close to the slot machines, but maybe no-one noticed her in the stroller.

My concern with the Boardwalk was more the attitude of the security guard than the fact that I was asked to move - I appreciate that I can't loiter on the gaming floor with a minor, but this was the first time I'd been asked to move away from a cashier's cage, and quite rudely at that.

Ah well - still got lots of chips!
