ok, Maybe I am finally catching on to what this thread is about. It sounds like since the letters "ltd" was not on the actual chip there is some concern that the INITIAL release might have been 500 but they actually "made" more to possibly be release later???

I guess Ralph's comment about the number "made" and the number "issued" most likely being different still has me concerned and would still like to know some examples or basis for that.

I reviewed Warwick Stone's message that was posted on this board on May 1st and he said, "This year we made 3000 at $5 and 500 of the popular $25 version".

He used the word "made", so I figured they would have only made 500 and probably released all 500. I would suspect that if this is not a "ltd" chip, they probably could make more in the future if they felt it necessary...

Am I wrong here? This is a very interesting topic and am anxious to learn more.
