...and to tell you the truth, I didn't intend to get into a debate over this. When I made my initial post, I wasn't even arguing whether the code of ethics had been breached. I was simply answering Jim's hypothetical questions "If.....then....did I do something wrong?" in the affirmative...and "in my opinion". There's a difference between illegal and unethical.....and regardless of whether the code of ethics or laws have been broken, I still hold to my original opinion....the perpetrators in the brass chip debacle did do something wrong.

BTW, What I meant was lack of intent and lack of knowledge combined would be an acceptable defense, in my opinion. As for ebay sellers mis-using the term "rare"....a whole different issue, that I'm not gonna touch!!
