Re: Chip Lost in Mail
In Response To: Chip Lost in Mail ()

I received a damaged, empty (uninsured) mailer with a postal stamp that stated "Received damaged at (?) branch (date)". I took it to the post office. They had me fill out a form and kept the damaged envelope. They said they would check the "lost and found", in case equipment had damaged the envelope and the chips were waiting to be claimed. A few days later, I got a phone call from my post office saying they were forwarding it to Las Vegas, as that was where the package had originated. I never heard another word from anyone mad. Now I insist on insurance for anything over $15 or $20 (the uninsured package was $92 sad)
