Ah yes, that is correct! Isn't there a password bypass by shorting out a particular jumper on the mother board? I'm sure someone at a computer store would know work arounds for this, such as disconnect the CMOS battery so the BIOS needs to be reconfigured.

With 2000 the system can start without a password, the version of NT I used to run, required a passord at start-up to get into the system. Always a little party with OS games. grin
