I got my Inspiron 8100 3 weeks ago and I use it with a docking station as my desktop computer too. What a great machine! Just unlock from the docking station and you take all of your files and data with you when you travel. Come back home, plug it back into the docking station and you have a great desktop machine. I ordered my XP upgrade online, but they said they wouldn't start shipping until 11/21.
