Here is an interesting project for someone with a lot of knowledge and at least a little time. I don't think that this information exists in one easy to find location at this time. The scan below shows a few chips where there is at least one letter that is "unknown" or questionable. I know that I have a lot more chips with the same problem. The Old English letters seem to produce the most confusion. Is there anyone out there who has access to old records or advertising information from the various chip makers which reveals the various fonts that they produced? I think it would be a great idea if all of this information could be put on one web site so if you find a chip with questionable letters at least the letters could be correctly identified.
