REAL POPPYCOCK!

"When I send in a chip to be certified I do not add the cost to the chip."

Can the same be said about your coins?

Tell us WHY then the disparity in your coin pricing? After all there are millions of these Sacagawea coins minted.

After all there is ONLY a ONE POINT GRADE DIFFERENCE in your two auctions here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who gives a DAMN about MS population reports? NOW BECAUSE IT IS MS-68 THERE ARE ONLY 1000 OF THESE SO IT IS RARER! YEAH, RIGHT! HOW MANY POTENTIAL ONES ARE OUT THERE OF THE MILLIONS THAT WERE MINTED? If the unslabbed one I have in my collection looks as good to the naked eye (mine or your's) as the slabbed one, why do I need it slabbed?

My BIG QUESTION now is, as a reputable dealer in coins what would you charge someone for an unslabbed Sacagawea coin that "YOU BELIEVE" might make the grade of MS-68?

I prefer to differ with you regarding your take on THE COLLECTOR. I seriously doubt your percentages with regards to the CASINO chip and token collecting arena. While your percentages might well be true of the coin industry after the slabbers took hold, it just doesn't hold true for other hobbies. Why do you think most of us old coin collectors left the coin hobby? (Numbers can sure change when people leave the hobby leaving the bigger numbers to show up with the other groups still left) To me it is no longer a hobby, and that's why I left it far behind. I suppose that's why your percentage numbers are so much higher in the COLLECTOR/INVESTOR category, as slabbing has run out the "PUREST" COLLECTOR.

As for your take on THE INVESTOR????

(3) THE INVESTOR

This is the person who calls you up as a dealer and says: I am sending you a check for $50,000.00 send me a box of stuff. He then salts it away for 10 years and pulls it out to sell it hoping for a strong return on his investment. He will get the box and may or may not take a cursory glance at the contents, He really does not care what is in it. He likes the way you have treated his friends and associates or Mother or Father and therefore buys from you based on your reputation not your product.

THIS IS PURE POPPYCOCK!

I seriously doubt any investor would not unknowling make an investment NOT knowing what it is that they are investing in. Regardless, of a reputation!

Even if I were a multi-million (which I am not!), if I were to invest $50,000.00 I would make damn sure I knew what it was I was getting for that investment, regardless of whom it was coming from.

How many times do we hear the horror stories on the news of how reputable and honest a person has been in the past just to find out the real story later?

It seems to always return to the story of buyer beware, yet even being as cautious as one can be the horror stories still show up. (Even best friends and relatives can be the culprits)

The thing that bothers me most regarding the slabbing of CASINO COLLECTIBLES is that this is a very small population of collectors in relationship to Coins, Sport Cards and Stamp collectors. In my humble opinion, there just isn't a big enought customer base to support the slabbing of Casino Collectibles.

I for one do not want to see your percentages of collector/investor ratios in our hobby.

THE COLLECTOR - - 5% - - NO SLABS
THE COLLECTOR INVESTOR - - 95% - - SOME SLABS
THE INVESTOR - - 5% - - ALL SLABS
