Archie - It seems relatively simple to me on
how to " phrase the question " to the full club
membership for a vote ( in regards to the
slabbing of chips ) . Pick one of the 2
following statements that applies to you as
a full voting member of our club :

YES - I am in favor of the slabbing of chips
and allowing dealers who sell them to do so at
club sponsored conventions . - OR -
NO - I am NOT in favor of the slabbing of
chips and allowing dealers who sell them to
do so at club sponsored conventions .

Doesn't seem too complicated to me .

IMO - "Slabbing" has encouraged price-gouging
and profiteering in the coin collecting hobby
and the sports card collecting hobby . Just
because it has been " accepted " doesn't
