I think it is hypocritical of you to maintain membership in a club that condones slabbing. I think the only honorable thing to do would be to resign from the club.

If Jim Reilly boycotts the Club convention, then this also applies to him.

This attitude of "if things don't go my way, I quit" besides being immature, just plain sucks.

Let's work within the club to get the decision reversed.

Although not as bad, I also think Gene and Jim's decisions are terrible and should be rethought. They too are helping to ruin the convention for many, many people. The possible results to future conventions and the signing of new members could be catostrophic.
