Re: Why do casinos William
In Response To: Re: Why do casinos William ()

I was just speculating from my observations of the prices I see for Hat & Cane chips at several dealers. The average price for fantasy chips and others that look very similar or identical to what they use in casinos is about .65 a chip. for a 300 chip set that is $195 not including a case. Thank you for your correction. It is always interesting to nail down more of this info as fact than letting alot of it go as speculation. I guess I was not considering the cost of artwork and setup charges and whatever else might work into a custom job. I guess the prices I am using would be for chips that are designed and printed for consumers in quantities of maybe hundreds of thousands. Also, maybe the chips I am looking at do not have some of the security features that a custom casino chip would. As was asked before there is more that a person of your experience could provide. Thanks again.
