I know you've updated your dat files, but my son (the computer literate one in the family) pointed out to me that the virus checker engine may not be new enough for a particular virus. Compare the technical info that Norton (or McAfee, as the case may be) about the virus, with the release # of the engine.

What I am trying rather unsuccessfully to say is that Norton or McAfee should tell from what engine ver. on should work with a particular virus.
