Just to clarify one point in your post.....

"For example, I offered my new issue customers the Riviera porn set of three chips at $21.00, face plus $2.00. The day after release, this set was selling for over $300.00."

The sets were released on Thursday night & I was the first one to get any. They did not start selling for the BIG bucks until Monday. So, it was a little more than the day after release.
