Robert. There is nothing stopping the "new issue providers" from accumulating the number of chips they need, they just don't want to be bothered doing it. Also when there are enough chips for everyone some "dealers" don't bother with them because they can't corner the market and jack up the prices the same day the chips are issued.
And that is why there are some left at the casinos.
So what if chips remain in the casino for a few weeks, that let's some of you out-of-towners have the chance to travel here and get them for your selves. That is what we used to do when we lived in Michigan. The whole fun of the trip was going around picking up chips and tokens. Now there are none left for you to pick up when you get
here because all these short runs have been grabbed up the first day out. And we, who do live here in town, have no chance of getting one because, in some cases, they are all being saved for the grabbers. I am sorry if if upsets the people on the other end of the new issue services and yes, there should be some way of coming to a middle ground for everyone, but I am afraid that is impossible as long as the greed factor keeps rearing it's ugly head. So it will just remain that you are in favor of the new issue services getting the chips and I am in favor of area collectors having a fair opportunity to collect the same chips. Janice O'Neal
