Recheck your math. There are four suits so after the first card is dealt the odds are 4:1 of getting a match. They only pay 3:1. There are 13 cards of each suit so the odds of a royal card being dealt is 13:1. Odds of a second royal being dealt are also 13:1 making the true odds 269:1, not the 10:1 they are paying.
