These stupid carnival games ... () ...Royal Match with 3 to 1 payoff on any match, plus 10 to 1 on the royal. 2.5 to 1 is good odds for the casino and 25 to 1 on the royal still leaves them ahead, because the odds of getting the royal (on a fresh deck) is about 1 in 3000.
The 3 to 1 payoff is even money, and the 10 to 1 puts it in the player's favor. Whassup with that?
