.... item in the pre-registration package that made it worthwhile. (Good point Jim Molloy.) Too much emphasis is being put on the Hard Rock chip.... which turned out to be an added (valuable) bonus. I too want to express my thanks to the convention dealers who provided discount coupons and freebies for all those who took the time to pre-register prior to the convention. The $10 fee was worth several times that much even after discounting the HR chip deal. For those who said they would have pre-registered had they known about the Hard Rock chip..... the following was published on page 71 of the April, May, June issue of the club magazine.... prior to Hard Rock's generous demonstration of support to CCGTCC. "Enclosed in this issue of the magazine is a pre-registration form. We are encouraging all members to pre-register. All pre-registered members will receive a registration package that will contain special offers from some of the convention dealers. In addition, we are planning to give all pre-registered members a ticket for a cash raffle to be held during the show. Members who choose NOT to pre-register will not receive the pre-registration package of special offers."

I hope that convention-attendees in 2002 will remember that pre-registering is for their benefit ... and for the organization's benefit as well. The process saved a lot of time on the Registration Desk lines and offered an unexpected bonus surprise!
