Who is crying? I haven't read one post about anyone crying. I didn't go to the convention and do NOT feel I "deserve" one. But on the other hand, if 80 are still available I would like to see them made available to club members that didn't already get one.

Didn't the CLUB work WITH HR on this freebie? Isn't it the CLUB logo on the chip? Then I would hope the officers or convention committee would contact the HR and work out a resolution. If they are destroyed then so be it. But who is going to watch them destroyed before they walk out the back door and end up on ebay? They are only NCV chips so how hard would that be?

I have a hard time believing the HR is going to give a rats ass about 80 people not coming their house and gambling while picking up a free chip. I've stood in many chips lines and VERY few people gamble while they are chipping. At least in my observation.

Let's assume a purely hypothetical example that the 80 chips were auctioned off for $50 each. That's $4000. Couldn't the club use that money for something? Or would it be better to destroy them?
