Andy, I in no way intended for my post to sound as if I wanted to deprive either Ed, Todd or anyone else in their situation of their just due.
My question "don't the rest of us count ?" was just that, a question.
What I was trying to draw light to, was the fact that many of us who would have given their right arm to be at the convention couldn't for whatever reason. Regarding these chips we were totally overlooked without nary a mention.
It would have been thoughtful if some allocation would have been made for our group.

My suggestion for a lottery would give every non-attendee an equal chance at a chip. Unfortunately we are not in a position to dictate HR's policy of chip distribution.
