Borrowing the scan that Mark Erickson had on another C&J vs H&C discussion, here are 2 Fireside Inn chips. You can tell which is a Christy by looking at the insert marks (and if you still cannot tell, just assume the much more expensive one is the Christy).

Christys have "neater" insert shapes.

Look how neat the C&J inserts are on the left. Compare that with the Paulson H&C on the right. Notice how its not straight, and the yellow streaks and almost blotchy.

Christys always have clean breaks from one color to another.
