True - it is the easiest, but you miss the exerience (well not you personally, but a tourist like myself). This is a big part of collecting for me is to visit each of the houses. It is amazing to me how each are the same at the core (same machines, same table games) but are all totally unique. Just look at Mirage and Casino Royale. Directly across the street from each other and worlds apart. That's what makes LV such a great place.

And some of the houses (Venetian for example) just have to be seen. So when you look back at the chips, the memories come back.
