Then I have a question...

If the board deals with issues all the time, that's fine, but where does the membership come in. As Wayne pointed out only 87 people came to the highest attended business meeting, then how do we the membership let the board know how we feel about an issue? If we should vote on issues at the convention because of people like myself who can't attend, then where is the venue for discussing club issues? Having a ballot in the magazine is difficult - perhaps - but where else can the board hear our opinions. The way the board works seems all too secret. If they really are approving things by getting 2 others in agreement and not bringing it to the full board, how can I really trust that issues that matter so the members are really getting a fair shake.

Sorry for all the questions, but as they say 2 heads are better than one and more people thinking about a particular issue will yield a better result.
