Let me point out a few things about your suggestion that would be problematic. First you can eliminate Tunica, Biloxi, Detroit, Tahoe and most other gambling locations because they do not have 15,000+ square feet in one room to hold the Convention. I would guess that would probably be the case with Reno also but don't know for sure. Secondly eliminate Atlantic City because you can't get the hotel rooms. What does that leave? Las Vegas. And surprisingly enough out of all the hotels in LV there are only about 12 that have a showroom big enough for our show. When you eliminate the properties we can't afford or whose room rates are higher than our members will pay (Rio, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, MGM, Venetian, etc) you are down to maybe 5 or 6 hotels in LV. Believe me I have talked with every property in LV.

Please understand this post is not aimed at you as this suggestion as been posted by others. We have to trust the incoming Convention Chairman and the Board to make the decision that is in the best interest of the Club and members.

Thanks!

Wayne
