Sorry about your victimhood on your eBay blunder and all Ric, but the bulk of our enjoyable hobby is going to be affected greatly by slabistas. We keep hearing the drone about only high-end chips being slabbed but what kind of fish is going to believe that ICG is only interested in grading a hundred or so $1000 chips for the benefit of chip collecting? Are we to believe that after they save our hobby for the tune of a couple of thousand bucks they're going to be satisfied? Ric! They're going to slab and and slab and slab! $500 chips, $100 chips, $20 chips and ANY chip at $10-$20 a pop. Don't be disingenuous Ric, you know how the manipulation of grades and small issues goes in coins and cards and so do we. Because of your misadventure, you are ambivalent to exposing everyone in our hobby to the cost of a no-value service. Another mistake on your part Ric. If you would care to discuss the rest of the hobby outside of your big chips that most of us enjoy, I'd sure like to hear. You would also be the FIRST slab-friendly advocate to move off the $1000 chip fixation.
