Good post Neal. I think the idea being brought up here is what happens in our American way of voting.

If you are a Democrat and go to the poles, you might very well vote a straight ticket of Democrats even though you know that a Republican would be better for a particular office. It is very important that each member vote for the best candidate in their own eyes. If they feel that the four candidates running under a common banner are the best, then let them vote for the four. But each member should look at each candidate first as an individual and decide which is best qualified no matter whether they are running under a banner or independently.

It is too early to say whether the club will be better off with a board of directors who all think along the same lines, or whether different lines of thought may initiate more positive and productive thinking.
