Re: Bonanza Inn current selling as obsolete

And therein lies the need for current information. Based on Bill's auction, a person could easily assume this is still an H-rated chip. I first discovered these chips on the craps table at the Bonanza Casino on October 29th, 2000. They've had quarter craps for years, but now they have dollar craps on Friday and Saturday nights. They used to use dollar tokens on the craps table. The blue 8-suits you mention is NOT a "current table" chip, it's an NCV. It's E-rated and I've never seen one at the casino. They dredged these old chips out of the vault to use for their dollar craps. The Bonanza Inn is not "closed." They dropped the "Inn" from the name in 1980. It's the same place in the same location, and now they're using these same old chips. I'll be happy to sell you all you want for $3 each or $40 per 20, plus shipping.

My first post on the subject is at the following link if you're interested.

Now, what about the guy who's about to pay ten bucks for one (or more) based on obsolete chip guide info and a misleading auction? I've got some Harrah's $1 brass cores for sale that have been off the tables at Tahoe for years.
