Great points! Yes the nomenclature in the presentation does differ from Howdy's book. I like you use descriptions that are more visual, and as you pointed out, my indeed differ from the manufacturer's. Another example is the mold - Dice Swirl Vs Speed Dice. The Manufacturer calls it Speed Dice, while most collectors call it Dice Swirl...

I don't think that the presentations intention was to have the club adopt the descriptions as a "standard". Much work needs to be done on this front.
