Doug's auctions have always had a "one-bid only" policy, with no comparison to the second bidder. Infrequently he will reduce the top bid to the amount of the second high bidder, but not often (usually when he has multiple chips available). In any case, the Primmadonnas are quite rare and valuable; I'm glad I filled up my entire set years ago. I'm actually going to feature this casino in a display at the July show. I think the Primmadonna girl chips are among the best looking ever made (gotta love those redheads!). I have one extra for sale, the one in the scan below.
