Sales offer for these 500 Club chips
In Response To: Atlantic City - Illegal 500C ()

Hello,

I am offering these Club 500 chips for sale here. I have only 26 sets of the orange and brown chips, and then a few extra brown ones. I have a lot of the white ones -- over 100. The browns and oranges are mint-like. The whites have been used, but no notable defects.

In this thread you will find all you need to know about the illegal, prominent 500 Club, Atlantic City NJ (opened 1918; closed now) -- the chips have been pictured; the Mason Co. index cards identifying the shipments of chips, dates, etc are shown; The Gambling Table citations are quoted; and Archie gave some background which inluded:
>>>> "WOW! Great find Gene and Robert! The 500 Club was one of Atlantic City's most famous night clubs .... well before
legalized gaming came to town. It was frequented by the most influential people and featured top headliner entertainers
for years. I remember going to the 500 club in the 1960's while attending union conventions in Atlantic City. The place
was owned by Skinny DAmato.... one of the most powerful politicians in Atlantic County. It was not a big secret that
gambling was going on there. The secret has been... up till now... what did the chips look like that were in use there?" <<<<

I am selling the chips for (I'll pay the postage and insurance):
$20 -- white chip
$80 -- one orange and one brown chip
$90 -- set of 3 chips (white, orange and brown)
