Re: Postage for one chip in a padded envelope...

Jim, If you boycott people charging $1.50 or more (of course we don't included optional insurance), you've just eliminated 90% of the dealers. Lately, on occasion, when purchasing a chip (especially if postage isn't specified) I've sent my check in a padded envelope. Besides the check, I've included a priority label addressed back to myself (with the prioity portion cut off) and a $0.55 stamp with the instructions to reuse MY padded envelop with the enclosed label and stamp. Voila! No postage costs whatsoever to the seller and only $0.55 cost to me. (I'll have to look into using 2 $0.22 stamps)
