The Purple Krackle was one of several mob ran gambling joints that were located on highway 146 just across the bridge (over the Mississippi river)from Cape Girardeau, Mo. a large riverport city. The Purple Krackle is the only one left standing by the way. It is a Resturant now. Down the road about a tenth of a mile is the burned remains of the Thunderbird club. I think all gambling on the Highway 146 was over by the early 60s. The chip pictured is the only one I've ever seen. Anybody know of any other Purple Krackle chips?
