Hi again John; Perhaps I missed something, but I didn't take your post as asking for a specific price quote. If you are, you may not be getting a response to your question because there simply are not stacks of these uncommon chips in dealer's inventories for them to offer you a price. Some dealers will give a low ball price on an item they don't have in inventory to make it appear they have the lowest prices around and when you go to order it they will tell you they are all sold out. (Sound familiar to anyone out there?)

I interpreted your "value" question to mean catalog value.... which is never an absolute. Just like the sticker price on an automobile, there is always room to dicker. Like the dealer's showroom; that strategy usually works because there are lots of other dealer showrooms and lots to look at. However, when one considers the term "rarity" or "scarcity" .... when every other dealer does not have what you are looking for, then that dealer has the luxury of not budging from his stated price because he knows you can't go to too many other dealers for the same product for less money. Of course, sometimes you will find a dealer who has not done his homework and will be selling a chip way below it's value. That's when "buying the book before the chip" adage works for the customer.
