I wonder.....are there collectors who having the choice would buy a dirty chip instead of a clean chip, everything thing else being equal.? I bet that almost all chips at the dealers tables at the convention will be clean. It wouldn't matter to me in buyng a chip if it was cleaned or not. But unless some damage to the chip might result, I would clean them.
